4. What will you have to pay us
for this service? |

We may charge a variable fee for
our services. Where we do it will not exceed £3500. You will be advised prior
to proceeding with the transaction if we are charging a fee and the exact
amount of any such fee. If we are charging you a fee it will generally only
be payable upon completion of your new loan, however in the event that you
don’t proceed we charge you a percentage of the fee that would have been
payable should your application have completed. The typical fee paid by our
customers is £2500. We may also be paid commission from the lender. |

fee to cover the cost of processing your application and surveying the
property. The typical application fee paid by customers is £280. |

8. Are we covered by the
Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)? |
|||
|
We are covered by the FSCS. You
may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our
obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of
the claim. Mortgage advising and arranging
is covered for 100% of the first £30,000 and 90% of the next £20,000 so the
maximum compensation is £48,000. Further information about
compensation scheme arrangements is available from the FSCS. |
